It felt like it made it more official! I wasn't trying to make them spooky, honest, they just kind of wound up that way because it's hard to have full length red robes and not have them come across a certain way. I don't know, I wasn't thinking too clear to begin with back then.

No, no. Looking back on the whole thing it is a little funny, you're right.

[He's never in his life going to be able to just brush it off like that period in his life wasn't a horrible one, but he lives in Ryslig and eats people regularly with his giant horrible snake mouth. If he can't laugh at hand-sewn cult robes what can he laugh at?]

Looking back red was an awful choice. The whole idea was to keep ourselves from being identified when we were out and about. Red's not exactly an inconspicuous color, even if folks couldn't see our faces. If we didn't have those guns we'd really have been up the creek.
