"You're being a real asshole right now, that's for sure! You could've just said you didn't want to talk about it. So, what, you don't want me to care about you? If that's the case, why bother even talking to me, huh?" ₪ • ♥ • ✂ • ⟲ [artist]
Drop the pain into the bottom of the sea I left my problems and my past behind me I told myself that I won't fall But I know I really haven't changed at all
Tell me what I want to hear But I will always be the same
Casting out a line Looking for a sign Trying to convince myself that everything is fine Got to make a change Before they read my mind I'll keep fishin'
The pain pulls me to the bottom of the sea My problems always seem to catch up to me I don't mean to fish and moan But in the end I always swim alone
Tell me what I want to hear But I will always be the same
Look around and see that no one’s looking back These haunting words I can’t forget They say this loneliness lasts only for a time But I can’t see the end quite yet
JUNO STEEL
If Taako had to pick his own words to describe Juno, most of them would probably just be "haha, gay" and "surprisingly good kisser for having a raccoon face". But his words are largely a cover-up for emotions that Taako doesn't really know how to quantify about the other man. At first, his attention was primed towards a man easy to fluster and good with his hands, but Juno's company has become about a lot more over his time in Ryslig. He strikes much of the same balance Taako does- keep it a joke, keep it simple, and just try to survive.
Of course, because of this, the more Taako finds out about him the more he's realizing they share a lot- and fit together surprisingly well. While their banter is entertaining, Taako always finds something about Juno that surprises him, capped off by the fact that Juno seems to Aggressively Care about him. Normally, this wouldn't be such a big deal... if he wasn't a little afraid of some emotions he's caught himself having back. Taako knows better than most that there's no point to getting attached to people in these planes, and yet he finds himself slipping into thinking he can let Juno in before closing himself back up.
One day, they both might know what some of those emotions mean.
