Chef. Wizard. Reclaimer. Savior of the world, now twice over. Two years away from home and many interactions later, Taako is still mostly the same art his core- distrustful, flamboyant, and brash on the outside with a softer core only a select few ever see. Despite his offputting nature as his emotional defense, he's found solace in his family and even some friendships in people outside of his home- though he will insist to the otherwise. Taako still doesn't trust other easily, but his presence has changed them; and as he's loathe to admit, they have changed him in turn. After being promised to be allowed to claim the victory he's earned many, many times, he's finding himself waking up in Deerington instead of his home. This is just another slight in a long list of times where he's been lied to and used, and somehow it feels personal but expected. At least he has his family by his side for now and at least the majority of his magic on lock, he has to belay his future a little longer to figure out what figure of power needs use of him now. This one better at least pay well.
