[Of course he checks his phone when he gets back. He's not expecting to have messages, not at all, seeing as he kind of figured this thing stopped existing when it wasn't hanging around his pocket. But no, it's... here. And so are these. All of them completely sincere and almost a little alarming. It's... kind of strange, to reconcile this Kravitz vs the man he was holding just hours ago, warming up his face, still letting I love you fall from his lips like honey. This Kravitz, who he feels like he knows so much more about.
Hah. He said it back home now, too. This isn't something Taako just conned him into here. The thought of it alone makes his stomach do a flip, but he can't concentrate on that. Somehow, it still doesn't feel crushing that he'll lose all this- it's just another opportunity to learn it about him. More opportunities for the future he now knows they have.
Alright, this is much too sappy. Maybe, if Taako were more eloquent, he'd send back some of these thoughts.

What he sends back is much shorter, and possibly the first communication that Kravitz gets that Taako is even home.]
[He thinks he might be dreaming, for a moment. Or maybe it's a trick, another of the 'gods' cruel jokes, meant to spurn- what, this time? Anger? Sadness?
But the message doesn't fade, and it he can't squash the hope in his chest even as he wonders if that's the point, too.]
[Kravitz is in such a senseless panic, picking up his jacket and then sitting it back down again- what would he need that for, what is he doing- that his messages come in a similarly confusing rush.]
