[Just about all Taako’s done since Kravitz dropped him off was find the energy to crawl up to his bed. He isn’t really tired anymore, in the sleeping sense- he spent a lot of the last day entirely passed out in Kravitz’ apartment, after about five days of illness, paranoia, and not taking a second of rest the entire experience. He’s picking at the end of his hair- it’s the only non-tousled thing about him, and only because Kravitz re-braided it while he was asleep. Taako doesn’t really know how to feel about that, honestly. That he keeps doing things without being asked. That he just— does them, because he thinks it will make Taako happy. It’s a lot to parse.
But his twin’s reappearance can’t help but lift a bit of the dread from his shoulders, a flick of an ear her direction, marginally more lively than he’s been most of the week.]
