[It takes Lup at least three times to read through that message before it's meaning really hits.
Taako has a boyfriend?!
Lup immediately drops the whole pretext of texting and tries to call her brother instead, cursing in Elvish when it goes straight to voicemail. Poor Lucretia is forced to listen to Lup try to call him three more times before she's sending her twin a flurry of pointless texts, all capped and full of too many exclamation points and question marks. It takes her awhile to finally accept that he's turned off his phone and is cutting her off for the rest of the night, but even then, Lup is too keyed up to sleep.
Whenever Taako finally drags himself back to the apartment the next day, Lup is there ready for him, perched on his bed instead of her own, long legs hanging down off the edge. If he even thinks about trying to run, she will fucking tackle him.]
